A Q & A with the Author:
Would a Single Session, 3-Series, or 10-Series Work Best for Me?
I want to help you get the most out of our time together. Whether you're recovering from pain or injury, feeling stiff, wanting more ease in movement, or aiming for better health—here’s how a Rolfing / Integrative Bodywork series can support you.
Start by asking: Do you want relief from pain—or do you want to address the deeper imbalances that led to it?
Rolfing is a process that begins by unwinding the outer “sleeve” fascia and larger movement tissues, and then works into the “core”—the deep postural layers. Integrating both brings greater ease, alignment, and vitality.
What’s the Right Fit?
- Single Session: Helpful for focused “spot work” on one area that feels off. Also a good way to see how your body responds.
- Three Sessions: Brings more coherence and whole-body integration. Focus includes pelvic and shoulder girdles, spine, neck, and head.
- Ten Sessions: Addresses surface and postural layers, supports circulation and lymph flow, integrates old injuries, and deepens body connection.
Conclusion
If your body feels mostly balanced, three sessions may be enough to create meaningful change. If there are long-held patterns, chronic pain, or old surgeries, a longer plan will be needed depending on your intention. Movement is included to help build more resilient and diverse patterns.
