3 Immune Tips You Can Use Now

Let’s face it. Most people don’t think about their health until they get sick. But what if there were a few things you could do to give yourself the upper hand when it came to cold and flu season?

Happily, there are some easy solutions. Following are my three categories to stay healthy this fall and winter.

  1. Personal Care: This is simple. Get the sleep you need (typically 6-8 hours). Drink 8-10 8 oz. glasses of water daily. Eat 2-3 servings of vegetables daily and 1-2 servings of whole fruit. Avoid fast food and other garbage. Don’t skip meals!
  2. Mental Care: Exercise 30-90 minutes per day. Meditate 10-30 minutes per day. Drink a cup of chamomile tea (or this tea from Reishi) before bed. Take a mental health day off from work. Express gratitude daily for what you have. Do a kind act for another.
  3. Acupuncture, Herbs & Supplements: I know some of you don’t like to take anything. That’s fine, but I’ll tell you herbs DO make a difference. Here’s what I like:

Prevention: MediHerb Echinacea Premium, Host Defense Stamet’s 7, KW Botanicals Cold/Flu Prevention Formula. OHS Whole C Chewable.

Treatment: Mayway Gan Mao Ling, KW Botanicals Cold Wind Chill & Wind Heat Formulas, MediHerb Andrographis Complex.

Acupuncture stimulates your immune system, can relieve inflammation, and open the sinuses and aid breathing.

Bonus: Lot’s of people get sick and don’t get better because they don’t rest or because their lungs are their ‘weak spot’. Those people get stubborn coughs, bronchitis, sinus infections, and fatigue. I can still help, but it’ll take me a couple of weeks to get you better. Want to avoid this situation? Please re-read this article. 🙂
